This post will help you determine which Dacia car is better for camping – the newest Jogger, the versatile Duster or older models Lodgy or Dokker. We will focus on the pros and cons related to camping (i.e. size, storage, and convertibility into a bed). We will therefore pay less attention to their engine, speed or driving experience comparisons.

Read, if you want to find out:

  • which Dacia car is better for car camping and sleeping in?
  • which one has more room at the back? Which is longer / taller?
  • which one has more storage space?
  • which one is cheaper to drive (better consumption)?
  • which one is better for driving?

We are comparing the standard version of each car here. For example, it wouldn’t be fair to compare the Jogger camper version with the standard Duster.

This table highlights the key differences between all four cars.

The Jogger stands out with its low consumption and higher comfort rating – primarily because it is the newest car (only released in 2023). It also has one of the longest boots out of the four. Its low NCAP safety rating doesn’t mean it is not a safe car, but compared to other, higher-end cars, it doesn’t use all the latest safety technologies. But it does have all the essentials.

The Dokker has the tallest boot of them all, being a van-based model, but also the shortest one.

The Duster is the most versatile one – 4×4 (four-wheel drive), higher ground clearance, good length and height boot – kind of a hybrid of all the three other cars.

The Lodgy offers the longest boot with good height too and being the oldest model, also the lowest used price.
